Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Packer/Picker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. Packers are responsible for stacking and packing steel blades into their correct boxes and preparing them for shipment. They are accountable to follow all applicable safety practices and will possibly be responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of packaging supplies. Must be able to pack products according to specification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Pulls and stacks product based on daily orders.
• Meets specifics of customer orders promptly.
• Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Operates various pieces of equipment (i.e. Bendi, palletizer, dolly loader, pallet wrapper, forklift, and electrical pallet jacks).
• Reports any mechanical problems.
• Utilizes continuous-improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
• Follows required work-safe practices.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Print labels for packaging on demand.
• Reporting all unusable materials to supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Packer Qualifications/Skills:

• Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
• Receiving, stocking, and stacking
• Pulling, packing, and loading Must be able to stand for 10 hour shift Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

Education, and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well with others.
• Maintain a positive attitude.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, in some instances this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
