Job Description
Packing and Shipping Specialist Epphora Anaheim, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $24.90 - $29.99 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Employee assistance program 401(k) matching Employee discount Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Sweeping Packing Moving Palletization High school diploma or GED Picking & packing Full Job Description Job Summary We handle a steady stream of orders here, and this role is where that work actually gets done. You'll pull items from shelves, box them, and make sure everything's labeled right before it heads out the door. Some shifts are quiet. Others aren't. You're on your feet a lot, moving product, checking quantities, and keeping your station tidy so the next order doesn't get delayed. We generally run two shifts back to back, and you'll be working alongside a small crew each time. It's steady, physical work, and you'll know by the end of the day what you got through. Responsibilities Pulling and staging items for outgoing orders Pack boxes using tape, padding, and appropriate materials Scanning items and generating shipping labels Verifying quantities against packing slips before sealing, since errors here slow everyone down Loading completed orders onto carts or pallets Restock tape, boxes, and labels as supplies run low Sweeping and tidying the packing area during slower stretches Flag damaged or short shipments to a supervisor Qualifications You notice small mismatches on a packing slip before they become a bigger problem. Whether instructions come from a supervisor or a printed order, you follow them without needing much repeating. You can navigate a basic scanning or label system without much trouble. Order volume shifts through the day, and you adjust your pace without losing accuracy. Standing for a full shift and lifting boxes regularly is something you can handle. You're reliable about showing up on time for your scheduled shifts. When the floor gets busy, you stay calm instead of rushing through the work. You get along easily with the people you're working next to.
