Performance Food Group is seeking an Order Picker to accurately select, stage, and prepare food and related products for delivery to customers in our fast-paced wholesale distribution center. Working primarily in refrigerated and freezer environments, you will use RF scanners and material-handling equipment to pick cases, build secure pallets, and meet productivity and accuracy standards while following all safety and food-handling procedures. This role works closely with warehouse and transportation teams to support on-time, complete deliveries, with opportunities to grow across logistics and supply chain operations. Responsibilities Accurately pick and assemble customer orders using RF scanners and pick tickets Build, wrap, and stage pallets to meet load and route requirements Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely Work in refrigerated and freezer environments while following food safety standards Meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics Follow OSHA and company safety policies, including proper lifting and PPE use Assist with inventory checks, slotting, and replenishment as needed Communicate shortages, damages, and discrepancies to supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to support on-time deliveries Required Skills Order picking RF scanner operation Pallet jack operation Forklift operation Warehouse safety compliance Inventory control Basic math Reading pick sheets and labels Cold storage handling Time management
