Job Description
Description This position is accountable for the rotation, order-pulling, and loading of all products, including adherence to first-in, first-out inventory methods, to ensure inventory accuracy and product freshness. This position is a trainee position, designed to lead to employment opportunities as a Floor Team Leader, Verifier, Forklift Operator, and/or Route Operator, depending upon skills, abilities, and work habits. This is an entry-level position that typically would be filled by someone with minimal or no experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or the beverage distribution field. This is a Monday through Friday job, with hours beginning approximately at 11 a.m. and ending when all work is complete (which can be earlier or later than 8 p.m., depending upon the needs of the night, and all crew members are expected to stay until the work is completed). LCMs will participate in cleaning and organizing the warehouse each night after the shift. The Load Crew Member's (LCM) primary duties include execution of Company programs and policies that will result in the accurate loading of all trucks. The LCM is expected to learn the skills needed to safely and effectively pull a customer's order from the warehouse, stage it, obtain verification and then load each truck. The LCM will work closely with the entire warehouse team to learn the skills and work habits needed to be successful, and will learn and comply with the Warehouse procedures and policies and all quality control standards. He also will participate in coaching and training opportunities in order to achieve competence with those procedures and standards.
