Quack's 43rd Street Bakery is a scratch bakery located in Hyde Park at the corner of 43rd and Duval. We are a retail and wholesale production bakery specializing in natural, scratch-made, approachable baked goods. Our Hyde Park location, which makes all of the products for our south location, most products for our east location, and all the products for our wholesale customers, is a busy shop with many long-time regulars. We are currently hiring for our wrap-pack team, which is responsible for portioning, wrapping, and packing product for our wholesale customers each night. The wrap-pack shift runs 6pm-11pm; currently looking for someone to fill 3-5 shifts/week.

Job responsibilities:

Portion, slice and wrap product needed for the night Organize and distribute product for wholesale orders for both customers and storefronts, ensuring each customer gets their order fulfilled accurately Communicate with wholesale driver when product is ready for pickup and delivery Maintain clean work environment, following health & safety standards; must have food handler s certificate Communicate with kitchen manager any discrepencies or out-of-stock product Be an additional eye for quality control, pulling product not suitable for selling Work with other team members to ensure all items are completed to Quack s standards and in an efficient manner Qualified candidates will be organized, communicative, have an eye for detail and quality, and have the ability to work well independently and as a team.
