Wage:
$18.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer Inspector to join our warehouse and distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, inspecting, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring quality standards and inventory accuracy are maintained. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and performing a variety of general warehouse duties. Essential Responsibilities Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists, scanners, or warehouse management systems. Inspect products for defects, damage, accuracy, and quality before packaging and shipment. Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation. Verify quantities, part numbers, labels, and shipping documentation. Assist with shipping and receiving activities. Load, unload, sort, and stage materials as directed. Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies. Perform light assembly and product preparation when required. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities. Support general warehouse operations as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, distribution, picking, packing, or inspection experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and reading skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Potential Workplace Exposures Employees may be exposed to: Lifting strains and sprains Slips, trips, and falls Repetitive motion injuries Moving conveyors and warehouse equipment Material handling hazards Prolonged standing and bending Struck-by hazards involving forklifts or other motorized equipment Hand injuries from moving machinery or conveyors Clothing, hair, or jewelry becoming caught in moving equipment Safety Requirements To ensure a safe working environment, employees must: Never lift materials exceeding 50 pounds without assistance or approved lifting devices. Follow all job-specific lifting and ergonomic training guidelines. Utilize lifting aids when available. Participate in work rotation and scheduled breaks to reduce repetitive strain. Complete required safety training before working around machinery or conveyors. Never reach into moving conveyors, machinery, or danger zones to clear jams or remove debris. Maintain awareness of moving equipment and pedestrian traffic within the facility. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Keep hair above shoulder length or secured appropriately. Avoid loose or dangling clothing, jewelry, drawstrings, and hooded sweatshirts while working around moving equipment. Follow all machine guarding and warehouse safety procedures at all times. Schedule & Work Environment Warehouse and distribution center environment. Pay Details:
