Position Title:
Sink Pack Tech Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sink Packing Enter receiving sinks from casting into inventory or assign to job as per requirements Run Non-Fab Packing by Plant Commit report to get daily packing requirements Identify small part/accessories and sinks required for job being packed Calculate and use the correct shipping materials needed in order to properly pack the job Securely pack finished pieces, sinks, and accessories for shipment Secure and label shipments properly Shrink Wrapping Wrap packed order utilizing shrink wrap, tape and plywood as per packing requirements Weigh and check dimensions on each piece and enter into the system International Crating Crate product with proper packaging for international shipment as required Accurately complete monthly inventory of all sinks and accessories Other duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities:
Create and manage pallets for shipment in the Pallet Manager system Move boxes, sinks, accessories and pallets using a forklift into the storage racks and add location to the job Mix and apply smooth-on mixture to finished pieces Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to demonstrate comprehension of positional work instructions Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work power tools including drill motor, nail gun, various hand saws, etc. Ability to operate stand up or sit down fork truck and become certified Able to work extended hours and overtime including weekends
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or
GED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years work experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach overhead repetitively during an 8 to 10 hour dayAble to stand for a minimum of 8 hours Lift minimum of 50 lbs. repetitively Equal employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals with disabilities. PI284407106
