•Friday, 7:30 AM
•4:00 PM (Includes 1-hour unpaid break) Totaling 37.50 hrs a week
Pay Rate:
$17.00+ per hour (based on experience) About the Role DBS is hiring a reliable, physically strong Warehouse Floater for a busy industrial facility off Diamond Springs Road near Little Creek Base. This dynamic role primarily focuses on picking and packing, with crossover duties in quality control, shipping, and receiving as daily inventory needs shift.
Key Responsibilities Order Picking & Packing:
Accurately select items, pack products securely, and prepare orders for prompt shipment.
Warehouse Support:
Cross-train and float to assist with Quality Control (QC) checks, loading, unloading, and shipping/receiving tasks as directed.
Heavy Lifting & Handling:
Safely handle, lift, and maneuver heavy glass products and shipments throughout the shift.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect outgoing packages carefully to ensure high attention to detail and zero product breakage.
Qualifications & Requirements Physical Capability:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift continuously for long periods (ability to repeatedly lift heavy glass products required). Attention to
Detail:
Excellent precision and care to prevent damage to fragile cargo and maintain accurate order fulfillment.
Experience:
Prior experience in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations preferred.
Work Ethic:
Punctual, dependable, and comfortable adapting to varying daily responsibilities.
Hours & Schedule Breakdown Shift:
7:30 AM
•4:00 PM (8.5 total hours on site per day)
Break:
1-hour meal break daily
Paid Work Hours:
