Performs counting and quality assurance tasks as assigned. Counts picked pallets as brought to shipping dock. 2. Records and reports findings; has product changed or fixed as needed. 3. Checks the number of pallets and ensures correct items on outbound loads. 4. Monitors and corrects outbound loads for deficiencies in wrapping, damages, and overall appearance. 5. Moves products and pallets using a hand jack (pump jack). 6. Performs cycle or other inventory counting tasks. 7. Generates daily, weekly, or monthly written reports and forms. 8. Follows company safety guidelines and Good Warehousing Practices. 9. Assists inventory coordinator and supervisor as required. 10. Reports data and completes other assigned tasks. 11. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Job Specifications 1. Warehouse or Quality experience is preferred. 2. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 3. Proficient in basic math skills. 4. Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood. 5. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working Conditions 1. Warehouse environment. 2. The environment will be wet and cold with temperatures ranging from 0F to 110F. 3. Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities. 4. Repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 75 lbs. is required. 5. Requires walking and standing for long periods of time. 6. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
