Job Description

What we do:
A.J. Manufacturing builds the highest quality doors and vinyl windows for the residential, commercial, and agriculture sectors. Plus, we are also the leading manufacturer of HVAC access doors and panels. Schedule and Pay 1st
Shift:
Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM, with some
Fridays Starting Pay:
$19.25 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE. Read and interpret work orders, written procedures, and instructions. Inspect windows for damage, defects, or missing components before packaging. Verify completed units meet established quality standards. Read a metric tape measure accurately. Safely operate a tilt table and wet tape machine. Package completed window units according to established standards and customer requirements. Frequently move completed units (50lbs+) from tilt table to L-buck. Label finished product with correct shipping labels and Handling/Installation stickers. Communicate inventory levels and coordinate removal of finished product. Complete required production documentation and close work order in Dynamics in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other related duties necessary to support production operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to positively influence others to follow company policies, procedures, and standards. Strong teamwork mentality Ability to accurately read a metric tape measure and interpret basic work instructions. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift, excluding scheduled breaks. Ability to squat, bend, and reach overhead while performing job duties. Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the shift. Ability to perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying throughout the shift. Visual abilities that include close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth perception. Ability to maintain attention to detail while performing repetitive production tasks. Frequent exposure to loud noise, dust, and production debris. Ability to frequently lift completed units 50lbs+. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail for extended periods.
