Location:
Markesan, WI At Didion, our purpose is simple and powerful: feed the world and fuel progress. As a Packaging Operations Specialist, you'll combine precise equipment operation with hands-on mechanical know-how to keep food-grade packaging and bulk load-out lines running safely and efficiently.
Your impact Picture this:
It's Thursday at 3:15 p.m. A minor misalignment on the pack line threatens throughput. You spot it, troubleshoot the cause, make a clean adjustment, log the change, and production never misses a beat. That's the level of ownership you'll have here. Operate and monitor packaging and bulk load-out equipment for steady, efficient production Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, make adjustments, and execute preventive maintenance Support warehouse flow: drive a forklift, stage materials, load/unload shipments Safeguard quality with checks, sample prep, and precise documentation Enter production and shipment data accurately in internal systems Conduct deep cleaning and sanitation between runs Partner with maintenance and operations to elevate reliability Advance your skills through structured training and on-the-job learning What sets you up for success High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience; technical or mechanical training preferred Background in manufacturing; food-safe or regulated settings ideal Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability Forklift experience or readiness to certify quickly Self-directed operator with strong attention to detail Able to lift up to 55 lbs, climb ladders, and work in hot, cold, or dusty environments Dedicated to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement Schedule and compensation $22-$25 per hour (plus premium for 2nd and weekend shifts)

3:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m.
Fri-Sun:
