Bander Responsibilities:

• Manually banding building materials and trusses with cord strap per specifications
• Monitoring rolling conveyors as they move down the end of the line, guiding trusses onto roll carts
• Checking emergency stops and completing checklist sheets
• Inspecting finished products for quality, stacking banded trusses for loading and setting bumpers accordingly
• Assisting forklift operators in offloading process by adjusting machine rollers positioning
• Keeping work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Following all safety and quality processes through proper use of protective gear and tools Requirements for

Bander:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, and variable weather conditions for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
• Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active, and repetitive working environment
