Job Description
Position Summary WB Warehousing & Logistics provides warehousing, material management, food packaging, and distribution services that help our customers operate more efficiently. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to accurately select, prepare, and stage customer orders for shipment. This position uses pick tickets, warehouse management systems, and RF scanners to locate inventory, build pallets, maintain accurate records, and help keep warehouse operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Review production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine the items that need to be picked. Manage and complete pick ticket orders accurately. Locate materials using the company's warehouse ERP system. Pick products according to size, type, style, color, product code, date, and other order requirements. Build pallets and correctly stage completed orders for delivery. Restock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. Pack orders and shrink-wrap products onto pallets. Load delivery vehicles as needed. Operate RF scanners to ensure orders and inventory records remain accurate. Arrange products in the required sequence for production team members. Enter order and inventory information into the computer system. Maintain accurate records of completed orders. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or HSED required. At least one year of forklift operating experience required. Experience using pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment preferred. Previous warehouse, order-picking, scanning, or inventory-control experience preferred. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to follow work orders and coordinate with team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently carry and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds. Ability to regularly grasp, kneel, push, and pull. Ability to occasionally bend and climb.
