Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Candy Packer to join our manufacturing team, contributing to the efficient packaging of confectionery products in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring that candies are packed accurately, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety protocols, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality products to consumers worldwide. Duties Operate and monitor packaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to manufacturing standards. Perform assembly and packaging of candies according to production specifications and standard operating procedures. Handle materials efficiently, including loading and unloading packaging supplies Conduct routine mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Interpret production documents and instructions accurately to ensure correct product packaging and labeling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety standards. Assist with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting of materials and finished products while following safety protocols. Conduct quality checks throughout the packaging process to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and safety standards. Support safety protocol adherence by participating in safety training sessions and reporting hazards promptly. Experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility, preferably within the food or confectionery industry. Familiarity with packaging equipment, industrial machinery troubleshooting, and hand tools. Knowledge of
GMP, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable. Ability to interpret manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documents accurately. Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality assessments. Warehouse experience involving materials handling, heavy lifting, and inventory management. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting is advantageous.
