Job Description:
Job Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment as directed, following all safety protocols.
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of materials, supplies, and finished products.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and waste removal.
- Support various departments by performing general labor tasks, such as packing, sorting, assembly, or material handling.
- Cross-train in multiple roles to provide relief coverage for absent employees or during peak production periods.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to appropriate supervisory personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management. --- Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, and reaching.
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks and environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required, to provide relief coverage.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all company safety policies.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles is an advantage.
