$100,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - We are seeking an experienced Procurement Superintendent to oversee the sourcing of goods and services while ensuring supplier performance, contract compliance, and successful execution of procurement activities supporting capital projects. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this individual will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, leading competitive bid processes, and partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Lead procurement activities for goods, equipment, and services supporting capital projects. Manage the complete tender process, including supplier prequalification, bid preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiations, and contract awards. Conduct commercial and technical evaluations of supplier proposals. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving continuous improvements in safety, schedule, cost, and performance. Partner with engineering, project management, and other internal stakeholders to ensure procurement milestones are achieved. Expedite supplier deliverables and proactively resolve procurement-related issues. Work with leadership and legal teams to address contractual and commercial matters. Mentor and provide guidance to other procurement team members as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience. Experience supporting engineering, construction, mining, industrial manufacturing, or other capital project environments is strongly preferred. Experience managing capital procurement initiatives. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Preferred Background We're looking for someone who has experience supporting large capital projects, managing competitive sourcing events, negotiating commercial agreements, and building strong supplier partnerships.
