The Opportunity Big Saver Foods is looking for a driven and experienced Category Manager to oversee our Wall Deli, Dairy, and Frozen categories across multiple store locations. If you enjoy retail strategy, vendor relations, merchandising, and driving sales growth — we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Develop category plans to drive sales, margin, and market growth. Analyze sales trends, inventory movement, and customer buying patterns. Manage product assortment, item selection, and seasonal programs. Negotiate with vendors on pricing, promotions, and product opportunities. Coordinate new product launches and promotional activities. Monitor shrink, spoilage, and inventory levels. What You Bring 3+ years of category management or grocery retail buying experience. Experience with dairy, frozen, deli, or perishable departments preferred. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising. Proficient in Excel and reporting systems. Ability to travel between store locations as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
