An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and relationship-focused professional to join our Three Waters team as a Panel Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of our Three Waters HDM Panels, supporting the delivery of vital water infrastructure services that keep our communities connected and thriving. Based within a collaborative and high-performing team, you'll work alongside internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors to drive consistency, governance excellence and continuous improvement across panel operations. About the team | Ko te rōpū nei The Three Waters team is responsible for the planning, delivery, operation and maintenance of Christchurch City Council's drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure. The team works across the full asset lifecycle, from strategic planning and investment through to project delivery, operations and asset management, helping ensure safe, reliable and sustainable water services for our community. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants and stakeholders, the team plays a critical role in delivering significant operational and capital works programmes across Christchurch. About the role | Ko te mahi nei As Panel Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the Three Waters HDM Panels, ensuring governance processes, supplier engagement and contract administration activities are delivered effectively and consistently.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating HDM governance meetings, forums, workshops and reporting activities. Managing panel records, systems, documentation, workflows and SharePoint resources. Acting as a key liaison between Council and panel suppliers for contract communications and engagement. Supporting supplier performance monitoring, KPI reporting and health and safety compliance processes. Providing procurement guidance and support to internal stakeholders using panel arrangements. Maintaining accurate contract and governance documentation and ensuring information remains up to date and accessible. Building strong working relationships with suppliers, contractors, consultants and Council teams. Identifying opportunities to improve business processes, reporting and panel management practices. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, consistency and value for money. Analysing and interpreting supplier, contract and operational data to support informed decision-making and service improvements. You enjoy coordinating multiple activities simultaneously and are confident working with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience in a coordination, administration, project support or contract management role.
