This role drives consistency, efficiency, and cost leverage through disciplined vendor management, inventory control, and procurement processes, while ensuring strong safety compliance across all locations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and lead a company-wide purchasing strategy to maximize buying power, consistency, and cost efficiency across all locations. Establish and manage vendor strategy, including selection, performance management, and consolidation. Define and enforce inventory control standards, including stocking levels and inventory guardrails. Oversee procurement strategy for large projects in coordination with local teams. Lead aftermarket purchasing strategy across the organization. Drive visibility through reporting on purchasing, inventory, and safety performance metrics. Establish and maintain accountability rhythms across purchasing, inventory, and warehouse functions. Develop purchasing policies, approval structures, and guardrails while supporting daily execution. Support operations by providing sourcing strategy guidance. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to improve pricing, performance, and reliability. Provide leadership, direction, and development for direct reports. Regular and punctual attendance. This position requires periodic travel to multiple company locations, including quarterly visits to company locations. All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and implement company-wide purchasing and inventory strategies. Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and drive performance and cost improvements. Solid understanding of inventory management principles, including inventory turns and cycle count accuracy. Familiarity with safety compliance standards and reporting procedures. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements. Effective leadership and accountability skills across cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to balance standardization with flexibility across multiple locations. Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
