Our work is mission-critical, supporting the U.S. Navy and strengthening national security. About Department 475 Department 475 is responsible for managing the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program Network (NNPP Net) at Electric Boat. The EB LAN portion of the NNPP Net consists of Electric Boat users across the country including the east coast and pacific northwest. The network is expanding to support many changes including new construction, maintenance and modernization contracts, and to meet changing security requirements. Job Description D475 is seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual to support the departments business and operational needs. This role is responsible for managing procurement activities and maintaining the departments financial and business systems. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple teams to support the acquisition and tracking of IT materials, services, and software. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of procurement, including obtaining vendor quotes, preparing purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance, and tracking delivery of materials and services. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to validate requirements and facilitate the timely acquisition of materials and services. Update departmental business systems to maintain accurate data for performance reporting and product activity tracking. Maintain financial records and support budget tracking for procurementrelated activities. Identify and support process improvements to enhance procurement and assetmanagement workflows. Position is 100% on-site. No remote option. Responsibilities Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Excel. Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing coordination, supply chain operations, or financial/administrative support. Experience working with procurement systems, financial tracking tools, or departmental business systems. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Preferred Experience supporting IT procurement or assetmanagement functions. Familiarity with Snow Technology assetmanagement tools. Experience using Jira and Confluence for workflow tracking and documentation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively across teams and with vendors. Problemsolving skills and a proactive mindset toward resolving procurement or systemrelated issues. Active Secret Clearance.
