Senior Category Manager - Procurement US - Marketing & Sales Be a Part of a Revolutionary Change At Philip Morris International U.S. (PMIUS), we're transforming our business to deliver a smoke-free future. We are seeking a Senior Category Manager, U.S. Procurement to lead sourcing and procurement activities across Marketing and Sales Support categories. This role will drive supplier selection, negotiations, cost savings, and value creation while supporting business growth. The successful candidate will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Category Strategy & Leadership Lead category strategy, sourcing execution, and supplier management for Marketing and Sales Support spend, including POS materials and marketing activation services. Develop sourcing plans aligned with business objectives. Partner with senior commercial leaders, including the Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Communications, Head of Marketing, and Head of Sales Operations. Supplier Management & Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to optimize cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk. Lead category assessments, RFx activities, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management. Stakeholder Partnership Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to understand business needs and deliver procurement solutions that create value. Cost & Risk Management Deliver savings through strategic sourcing, spend optimization, demand management, and process improvements. Leverage spend analytics and market intelligence to identify opportunities and support business decisions. Ensure supplier compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sourcing standards while maintaining high performance levels. Market Intelligence & Reporting Monitor industry trends, emerging suppliers, and innovative practices. Track supplier KPIs and provide performance updates to leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of procurement experience with significant focus on Marketing and Sales Support categories. Proven success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management. Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills. Experience in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment preferred.
Compensation Base Salary:
