Up to $225,000 Base + $50,000 Target Bonus The Opportunity This is not a replacement role. As Evergen continues its rapid growth as a global leader in regenerative medicine, we are creating a new enterprise leadership position that will transform how procurement, planning, and operational decision-making are managed across our global organization. Historically, procurement and planning activities have been managed independently at each site. As we expand our portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, global footprint, and customer partnerships, we are taking the next step in building a more connected, scalable, and world-class operating model. We are seeking an experienced Director or Senior Director of Global Procurement & Planning to build, lead, and evolve a newly established global function responsible for: Global Procurement Strategy Supply & Material Planning Operations Planning & Analysis SIOP Leadership Supplier Performance & Strategic Sourcing Inventory Optimization & Supply Resilience Multi-Site Operational Analytics Reporting directly to the EVP of Operations, this executive leader will be responsible for creating alignment across operations in the United States and Germany while developing the systems, processes, people, and capabilities required to support Evergen's future growth. Education requirement:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline Master s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred Experience needed: 12+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, supply planning, production planning, operations analysis, or integrated supply chain within medical device, pharmaceutical, biologics, CDMO, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment 7+ years of people leadership experience, including responsibility for managers and geographically distributed purchasing, planning, or analytical teams Demonstrated success leading global or multi-site purchasing strategy, supplier management, MRP and supply planning, inventory optimization, operational analytics, and cross-functional business planning Experience operating effectively in a global, matrixed organization and collaborating across cultures, time zones, sites, and functional reporting relationships Experience implementing or materially improving enterprise resource planning, procurement, planning, business intelligence, analytics, digital automation, or AI-enabled decision-support capabilities.
Certification:
APICS/ASCM
certification, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent supply chain, procurement, planning, or operational excellence credential preferred
Skills:
Global purchasing leadership, organizational development, and matrix management Strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, purchasing controls, supplier performance, cost management, and supply-risk mitigation Demand, supply, material, production, capacity, and inventory planning across multiple time horizons. Operational analytics, financial acumen, statistical analysis, scenario modeling, dashboarding, executive reporting, and data storytelling. ERP, MRP, procurement, inventory, and planning systems; strong master-data governance and process-control capability. Knowledge of the FDA Quality Management System Regulation, ISO 13485, GMP, purchasing controls, change control, CAPA, supplier-quality interfaces, and audit readiness. Lean management, structured problem solving, root-cause analysis, process standardization, change leadership, and continuous improvement Executive communication, cross-functional influence, talent development, negotiation, decision facilitation, and effective cross-cultural collaboration Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, business intelligence and analytics tools, and generative AI; ability to develop practical automations and AI-enabled workflows. Travel Up to 30% domestic and international travel, including regular travel among U.S. sites and periodic travel to Neunkirchen, Germany Safety Move or lift objects up to 25 pounds. Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays. Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.) Working Environment On site. Business office and regulated manufacturing environments; regular collaboration with plant teams and periodic presence on manufacturing floors and at multiple company sites are required.
