Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager - Thermal Systems Posted on January 20, 2026 January 20, 2026 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing strategies and supplier management for thermal systems. This role focuses on ensuring cost efficiency, quality, delivery, and sustainability of direct material supply across the product lifecycle while supporting new product development and cross-functional initiatives. Position Responsibilities Supplier Management & Commercial Relationships Manage all supplier commercial relationships within assigned business areas Secure targeted levels of cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and supply continuity Assess supplier performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive improvement Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development Develop and implement supplier strategies that meet internal and external customer demands Drive supplier and spend consolidation across multiple sites in alignment with corporate goals Identify, assess, and develop new suppliers as needed Contract & Lifecycle Management Complete and manage supplier contracts, including corporate agreements, pricing negotiations, awards, payment terms, and inventory Support Purchase Price Variance (PPV) activities including budgeting, forecasting, and reducing PPV impact New Product Development Support Partner with Sales and Engineering to define supplier strategies for new product launches Manage costs to meet product margin goals and support transition to mass production Align supplier technical roadmaps with organizational objectives Operational & Escalation Support Support sites as needed to maintain critical customer service levels Escalate supplier issues and coordinate alternate or secondary sourcing solutions Travel internationally as required to support development and launch activities Prerequisites Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field Minimum 5 years of procurement or business experience, preferably in low-volume manufacturing Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing electronic and thermal components (e.g., PCB assemblies, pumps, fans, compressors) Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Master's degree in Business or Supply Chain Leadership, change management, or strategic sourcing certifications Knowledge of international supply chain management, Incoterms, and landed costs What the Role Offers Salary range of $160,000 - $165,000 Opportunity to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives Exposure to cross-functional projects and international supply chain operations Professional growth in procurement leadership and strategic sourcing Why Boca Raton?
