Job Description

Purchasing Manager Position Summary :
Create Bid Packages and Solicit Bids from Subcontractors
  • Identify the needs of Field Construction and source competitive subcontractors for projects.
Continuously research and engage new subcontractors to ensure competitiveness.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate and Negotiate Bids, Award Contracts
  • Assess bid alignment with project requirements, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts with subcontractors. Manage Subcontractor Relationships
  • Monitor performance, make contract revisions as needed, and mediate issues for effective project progress. Estimate Costs and Review Plans
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, collaborate with architects/engineers, and ensure plan consistency. Stay Informed on Construction Trends
  • Keep up-to-date on industry advancements, materials, and techniques to maintain competitive edge. Resolve Accounting Issues
  • Address billing discrepancies and collaborate with finance team for resolution. Manage Subcontractor Documentation
  • Collect and maintain insurance/license data, ensuring compliance throughout projects.
Perform Additional Tasks as Assigned.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 4 years experience in Construction Management; Residential Construction experience preferred
