The team designs, builds, and furnishes outdoor spaces that integrate architecture, landscape, water, fire, wellness, and lifestyle into cohesive, functional environments. Projects range from waterfront estates and rooftop pools to luxury residential towers and hospitality destinations. Clients include homeowners, architects, landscape architects, developers, hospitality groups, and estate managers who value a single partner from concept through completion. CPS Outdoors is recognized for delivering extraordinary outdoor experiences tailored to discerning clientele. Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, furnishings, equipment, and services needed for luxury outdoor projects, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. Day-to-day tasks include managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating purchase orders with project managers and design teams. The Purchasing Manager will track delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies with vendors, and maintain accurate procurement records and reporting. This role also contributes to vendor evaluation, continuous improvement of purchasing processes, and alignment of procurement activities with project timelines and budget goals. Qualifications Strong experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in construction, design-build, luxury residential, or hospitality environments. Demonstrated ability in vendor sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis, with a focus on quality and reliability. Proficiency in using purchasing or ERP software, spreadsheets, and project management tools to manage orders, inventory, and reporting. Solid understanding of materials, furnishings, and equipment commonly used in outdoor living, landscape, and construction projects. Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design, construction, finance, and external partners. Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to address supply issues, discrepancies, and schedule changes. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience working in or with luxury brands or high-end clientele is highly beneficial; knowledge of Miami-area suppliers and logistics is a plus.
