  • What impact you'll make Manage assigned electrical commodities for the Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units business segment. Support the development of supplier panels that can meet or exceed GEV's expectations. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the optimal contractual conditions while meeting project expectations

  • What you'll do
  • + Manage all commercial aspects of purchase orders with suppliers for assigned commodities, including but not limited to: + Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
+ Determine suppliers to solicit quotes from for specific project demands. + Lead negotiations for critical scope and allocate demands to specific suppliers. + Ensure selected supplier is capable of meeting all GEV requirements; gain internal buy-in for any exceptions. + Coordinate supplier awards and purchase order placement with the Procurement team. + Manage purchase order changes as necessary. + Manage commercial claims with suppliers regarding delivery and quality issues. + Develop content expertise for assigned commodities. + Identify and support process improvement activities. + Communicate and resolve complex issues, building consensus and commitment from key stakeholders. Utilize persuasion skills to influence others. + Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. + Use sound judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks and issues. + Uses technical experience, data analytics, and cross-functional inputs to support recommendations.
  • What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
  • + Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor/Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience). + This role requires significant experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management. + Fluent English language skills.

  • + Master's Degree in Supply Chain or related field. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. + Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.   • The position involves approximately 10% travel.
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $108.800 and $181.300 The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility:
discretionary annual bonus. This posting is expected to remain open for at least seven days after it was posted on August 21, 2026.
