In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize supply chain efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the seamless acquisition of goods and services, supporting manufacturing and operational excellence across the organization. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality, and timely delivery. Lead negotiations for purchasing contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable pricing, terms, and compliance with company policies. Manage vendor relationships through effective vendor management practices, including performance evaluations and contract renewals. Analyze Excel data reports to identify cost reduction opportunities, monitor procurement KPIs, and support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with procurement contract management policies and facilitate direct negotiation of purchasing agreements with suppliers. Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Monitor market trends related to manufacturing materials and pricing to inform sourcing strategies and vendor negotiations. Experience Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments. Demonstrated ability in negotiating purchasing contracts and managing vendor relationships effectively. Strong background in supply chain management principles including logistics, inventory control, and sourcing strategies. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools—especially Excel—for data analysis and reporting purposes. Familiarity with automated procurement systems and vendor management platforms is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills complemented by a thorough understanding of contracts and procurement regulations.
