Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a Specialized Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our Suwanee learning center. In this role, you'll support lead teachers in creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for young children. You will help implement curriculum, supervise play and learning activities, and provide individualized support that nurtures each child's growth. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, inclusive environment, assisting with daily routines, documenting children's progress, and building positive partnerships with families. Join a collaborative, growth-focused team dedicated to enriching early childhood education. Responsibilities Support the lead Pre-K teacher in delivering age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom. Assist with individualized learning plans and developmental support. Communicate positively with families about children's daily experiences. Maintain clean, organized learning spaces and follow health and safety procedures. Observe and document children's progress and behaviors. Support social-emotional development through positive guidance. Assist with transitions, meals, rest time, and daily routines.
