Job Description

What You'll Be Doing Collaborate with global partners to ensure the optimization of direct materials going into product manufacturing; lead development/execution of strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials and services to ensure optimal quality, cost productivity, fulfillment; first point of contact for escalation of vendor issues affecting Supply Chain, Quality, and Plant Operations; lead project execution with cross functional project teams, local and global; end-to-end responsibility to lead, manage, and facilitate business unit projects which related with external suppliers including domestic and oversee projects; assist in negotiating and creating supplier agreements; strategic development of key suppliers related to the manufacturing of electrical motor and controllers/inverters,; lead and support supplier search and qualification as well as taking part in the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP); update systems with contract information and administer drawing specification to suppliers; proactively drive spend analysis activities identifying strategic sourcing opportunities within assigned categories; develop both short and long-term strategy discussions concerning applicable direct materials and services; estimate values according to knowledge of market price, conduct RFQ/RFP and RFI local and globally, create cost break down, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and target cost for selected products; discuss defective or unacceptable products or services with inspection or quality control personnel, customers, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management 8 years experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing including mechanical categories and/or electronics categories 8 years experience with strategic sourcing, supplier management, and project management including with GD&T for mechanical and electrical/semi-conductor components 6 years experience working in cross-functional simultaneous engineering projects following a stage gate product development process (PDP) 6 years experience in SAP (MM) and in the Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system from Siemens Digital Industries Software

6 years experience with the Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) following

IATF 16949
