Job Description

The Strategic Sourcing Manager leads sourcing strategy development, supplier negotiations, and category management activities to optimize cost, quality, service, and risk mitigation across assigned spend areas. The Strategic Sourcing Manager builds multi-year strategies, prioritizes initiatives based on business impact, and manages complex supplier relationships including 3rd party logistics, transportation, parcel agreements, and contract drivers. The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leads the development of category strategies, multi-year roadmaps, and opportunity pipelines across assigned spend categories. Manages complex negotiations for Master Sourcing Agreements, pricing structures, scopes of work, NDA's, and amendments. Leads end-to-end RFP and bidding processes, ensuring high-quality specifications, competitive events, and timely execution. Leads strategic relationships with suppliers, including 3rd party logistics partners, transportation providers, parcel carriers, and contract driver vendors. Oversees tracking, validation, and reporting of savings, program compliance, and supplier performance. Manages cross-functional interactions with Operations, Finance, Safety, Legal, and other internal stakeholders. Leads continuous improvement initiatives for sourcing processes, tools, and reporting.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or related analytical fields. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, Sage) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools.
