Procurement Manager About EvapTech:
EvapTech is a premier cooling tower designer, manufacturer and contractor providing Research Powered Solutions for customer needs in the power generation, industrial, refrigeration and HVAC evaporative cooling markets. EvapTech offers new and replacement field erected cooling towers and a variety of cooling tower aftermarket services including replacement parts.Role Definition:
Assist Procurement Manager with the purchasing process by scheduling material arrival at the job site, issuing purchase orders for material & labor subcontracts and tracking the delivery of these products.Responsibilities:
Review project scope / specifications and understand purchasing requirements. Solicit bids / quotes from vendors, prepare bid tabs and issue purchase orders and advance purchase orders as directed by the Procurement Manager. Manage purchase order and delivery schedule revisions. Monitor and manage purchase order log as a communication tool for open purchase order status and delivery schedule. Under direction of the Procurement Manager and Project Managers, coordinate with customers, suppliers, logistics and site personnel to schedule deliveries of material to job site. Monitor and manage material shortages and place supplemental purchase orders as required to maintain project schedules.Assist Procurement Manager:
Monitor the procurement email inbox Structure new Bill of Material releases Maintain the vendor database in ERP system (Jobscope).Success Criteria:
