Raceland, LA Position Overview:

The Procurement Manager coordinates sourcing programs and serves as the lead for developing and implementing Executive Management approved procurement procedures and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares Requests for Proposal (RFP) for various commodities.
• Acts as liaison between purchasing agents and Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) vendors.
• Evaluates requests to add vendors to the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Solicits quotes/specifications for equipment and capital expenditures; submits recommendations to Executive Management.
• Coordinates standardization of consumable commodities.
• Adheres to company policies, including safety, environmental, and quality systems.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
• Works overtime as required.
• Maintains punctual daily attendance. Qualifications
• Seven (7) years of Procurement, Manufacturing or Fabrication Operational Supervisory experience required.
• Three (3)+ years of direct supervision required.
