Job Description
Fallston Supply is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Manager. You'll help process purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, track deliveries, and keep our supply chain running smoothly. What You'll Do Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders in line with company procedures, ensuring accuracy from request through fulfillment Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines Monitor open orders and proactively follow up on delayed or incomplete shipments Resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounts payable, from pricing errors to missing or damaged items Partner with shop and warehouse teams to order stock and shop items, keeping inventory levels where they need to be Attend project kick-off meetings to identify material needs, order buyout materials, and provide material forecasting to the Procurement Manager Purchase materials for punch-list items and keep Project Managers, Shop, and Field Managers informed on material status Gather quotes and compare vendor proposals Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and reduce costs Work with the Procurement Manager to keep the company in good standing with the FSC Program Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager What You'll Need High school diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's in business or supply chain a plus 1-2 years of procurement, purchasing, or administrative experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/procurement software experience a plus Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance options 401k with company match company paid life and disability insurance Paid time off and holidays Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values innovation, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
