Responsibilities Assist with hiring process and provide direct supervision to Analysts Manage customer order process for select programs, including but not limited to, order creation, purchase order creation, job scheduling, updating customer reports etc. Work closely with Inventory Manager to manage incoming flow of materials. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure on time customer shipments across all programs Work with Analysts to ensure timely release coverage and follow up with suppliers Manage critical supply shortages Manage supply base, including but not limited to, routine meetings, order follow up, etc. Responsible for maintaining predetermined inventory levels for assigned programs. Communicate any problems that may affect deliveries. Responsible for ensuring that all customer portals pertaining to customer shipments and/or releases are properly updated Develop and implement SOPs/Continuous Improvement opportunities for Materials Department. Uses company equipment/resources properly & safely and adheres to safety regulations. Perform related duties as necessary, within scope of Material Procurement Supervisor role. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience as Tier 2/3 Automotive Supplier, material procurement and production scheduling. ERP experience required. Plex experience preferred. EDI, DDL, GM and Ford systems knowledge preferred. Strong attention to detail Strong data analysis skills Strong customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines. Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements.
