Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced attorney to support procurement and legal agreement work within a large health insurance organization. This role focuses on reviewing, preparing, negotiating, and updating a wide range of corporate contracts while partnering with business teams to address a high volume of active priorities. The position requires someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate corporate agreements to support procurement and broader business needs.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve a backlog of contract matters and move priority agreements forward efficiently.
- Update existing agreements through amendments, remediation efforts, and other contract lifecycle activities.
- Work directly with stakeholders across legal, procurement, and business functions to align contract terms with operational requirements.
- Manage a large volume of agreements while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Provide practical contract guidance related to commercial, technology, services, and operational arrangements. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience handling commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Background working in the healthcare industry.
- Experience with contracts in banking or financial services environments.
- Prior support for large enterprise organizations with complex contracting needs.
- Familiarity with technology, detail-focused services, and operational agreements.
- Experience with contract remediation, amendment review, and broader contract lifecycle processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional stakeholder groups.
