Job Description

Purchasing Manager - Sign Fab Inc. Stoutland, MO Sign Fab Inc., a growing sign manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategy for our operations. What You'll Do Manage end-to-end purchasing operations for raw materials, hardware, and production supplies Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to control cost and ensure supply continuity Partner with production and inventory teams to forecast material needs and avoid shortages or overstock Build and maintain vendor relationships, evaluating performance on cost, quality, and lead time Develop and enforce purchasing policies, approval workflows, and documentation standards Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Supervise and mentor purchasing/inventory staff
Skills We're Looking For Negotiation:
Proven track record negotiating pricing, payment terms, and vendor contracts that deliver real cost savings Systems fluency: Comfortable working in ERP/purchasing software (we'll train on our specific systems) to manage POs, track spend, and forecast needs Sourcing & vendor management: Skilled at identifying, vetting, and managing supplier relationships, balancing cost, quality, and reliability Analytical thinking: Able to read spend and inventory data and turn it into decisions, not just reports Manufacturing environment experience: 3+ years in purchasing/procurement, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Benefits — (health/dental/vision, 401k, PTO) A stable, growing company with room to build process and make an impact
