Job Description

Warehouse Assistant - Sign Fab, Inc. Sign Fab, Inc., a custom sign manufacturer, is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to help keep production running smoothly. This role is key to ensuring the right parts and LED kits reach production accurately and on time and to supporting inventory, receiving, and material handling across our facilities. What You'll Do Parts Boxes & LED Kits Pull and prepare parts boxes and LED kits based on work orders, drawings, and job requirements Verify quantities and accuracy before kits reach production Catch missing, incorrect, or damaged parts early and communicate issues to the Warehouse Manager Keep parts boxes and kits labeled, organized, and staged so production always has what it needs Inventory Management Perform scheduled inventory and cycle counts Maintain organized storage locations and accurate inventory levels Assist with receiving materials and verifying against packing slips/POs Report discrepancies or damaged materials Loading, Unloading & Material Transport Safely load/unload trucks and stage materials for shipment Secure materials properly to prevent damage in transit Assist with transporting materials between Sign Fab facilities, including required documentation Warehouse Organization & Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment after training Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues What We're Looking For Warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accurate counting/identification skills Highly organized and able to manage multiple jobs/priorities Comfortable following work orders, drawings, and written instructions Able to work independently and collaborate across Production, Purchasing, and Receiving Basic computer skills preferred Forklift experience a plus (training provided) Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move materials throughout a shift in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
