This role will oversee procurement strategy for high-value substation equipment and materials while ensuring cost, quality, schedule, and contract requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement strategy for substation and T&D equipment, materials, and services. Manage sourcing and supplier relationships for transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, steel, bus, protection & control, and related equipment. Negotiate pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and supplier agreements. Develop and maintain a qualified supplier network and identify new strategic vendors. Partner closely with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Finance. Manage procurement schedules, long-lead equipment, expediting, and supplier performance. Establish procurement processes, controls, and KPIs. Qualifications 8+ years of procurement experience, with significant experience supporting substation/T&D projects. Strong knowledge of substation equipment, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry standards. Experience negotiating major equipment and material contracts. Proven ability to manage complex, long-lead procurement activities. Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Utility-scale EPC, electrical construction, or renewable energy experience strongly preferred.
