Kalwall Enterprises Inc. On July 1, 2026, Apogee completed the acquisition of Kalwall Enterprises, a vertically integrated manufacturer of high-performance translucent daylighting solutions, based in Manchester, New Hampshire. Kalwall Enterprises is currently being integrated into Apogee's Architectural Glass segment. This position is based on site at Kalwall Enterprises in Manchester, New Hampshire. Position Summary As a Procurement Manager with a strong sourcing background, you will lead the procurement of goods and services for Kalwall Corporation, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, cost optimization, and continuous improvement efforts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure procurement strategies support operational goals, quality standards, and compliance requirements while identifying opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen supplier partnerships, and improve overall business performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on leader who successfully balances day-to-day purchasing operations with a forward-thinking approach to process improvement and organizational growth. This individual is a self-starter who embraces change, demonstrates curiosity, takes initiative to solve challenges, and is energized by the opportunity to build team capabilities and help scale a high-performing purchasing organization. Key Responsibilities Hire, train, lead and develop the purchasing team by establishing clear goals, performance expectations, and development opportunities. Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, supplier performance, and risk mitigations. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives. Identify and evaluate new suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing. Manage and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and compliance with contracts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sourcing requirements and business priorities. Analyze market trends and forecast future purchasing needs to ensure adequate inventory levels. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures while driving continues improvement in sourcing processes. Manage supplier contract, including terms and conditions, renewals, and performance reviews. Prepare and present sourcing strategies, savings, and vendor performance reports to senior management. Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and supply chain risks to proactively identify opportunities and anticipate future purchasing needs. Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation. Support organizational growth and change by leading the purchasing team through evolving business needs, process transformations, and future system implementations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or buying, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Demonstrated success leading supplier negotiations, vendor management programs, and cost reduction initiatives. Experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies across multiple categories. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and market analysis. Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive sustainable operational enhancements. Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while effectively balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day operational responsibilities.
