Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital entry-level role, you will assist other purchasing personnel in the efficient procurement of meat products. They will learn how purchasing and pricing are handled through different buying cycles and market conditions. Responsibilities Assisting the buying lead in processing procurement documents. Managing pre order purchases and inventory. Learning the SAP software currently deployed by the company. Preparing confidential information, i.e., price lists, inventories. Understanding and contributing to the Porky culture. Communicating and developing relationships with sales team and vendors. Performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees. Strong clerical skills including computing skills and a moderate proficiency in the Microsoft Office applications Must be dependable and available to work morning schedules Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral forms Desired Qualifications Knowledge of meat related products. At least one year of clerical experience in a purchasing or business-related environment.
