Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marine Warehouse and Purchasing Specialist to oversee inventory management, ordering processes, and vendor relationships. In this role, you will ensure the seamless flow of materials, parts, and supplies essential for manufacturing and servicing boat of all sizes and makes while maintaining optimal stock levels and fostering strong vendor partnerships. Your expertise in supply chain management systems and procurement will drive efficiency, cost savings, and operational excellence across our marine division. Duties Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and utilizing Quickbooks accounting software and Microsoft Office platforms Coordinate procurement activities through direct negotiations with vendors, sourcing quality materials at competitive prices, and ensuring timely deliveries Communicate effectively with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping schedules, manage logistics documentation, and ensure compliance with maritime safety standards Support accounting processes related to procurement transactions using integrated accounting software for accurate financial reporting Maintain organization of warehouse and housekeeping Requirements Proven experience in materials management, purchasing, or supply chain roles within a marine or industrial environment Strong proficiency with internet purchasing and office software programs.
