Position Overview:

Looking for an opportunity to lead purchasing and supply chain operations? We're hiring a Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing, inventory levels, supplier performance, and material availability while supporting production schedules and controlling costs.

Responsibilities:

Run MRP daily and purchase packaging and indirect materials based on production needs and stocking levels Plan and manage local and international material orders, including long-lead-time purchases Coordinate with Production and Warehouse teams to ensure materials and deliveries meet production schedules Review purchase orders, order confirmations, deliveries, pricing records, and invoice discrepancies Research, evaluate, negotiate with, and monitor suppliers to support cost, quality, and supply objectives Administer RFQs, analyze supplier proposals, manage contracts and renewals, and maintain vendor scorecards Maintain inventory levels, counts, reorder points, lead times, and purchasing information in Famous Manage the purchasing team and oversee purchasing needs including materials, forklift leases, utilities, and other operational requirements Prepare and analyze reports on supplier performance, costs, and inventory position

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30

PM Requirements:

3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience BS/BA degree in Supply Management or related field preferred Experience with Famous and MRP systems is a plus Strong understanding of purchasing, procurement, and inventory management Negotiation, RFQ/RFP, contract management, and vendor management experience desired Ability to run reports in Famous and analyze data in Excel Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to manage purchasing operations independently and lead a team Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Any Questions Contact Our Swedesboro Office at 856-467-3600 #BASIC1
