full-time Director, Procurement Production (Contract) On-site in any of these locations: LA, CA Nashville, TN NY, NY Are you a procurement leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes production environments? We're seeking a Director, Procurement Production to support a major media and entertainment organization's Production Procurement function across active and upcoming productions. In this contract role, you'll partner closely with Production Procurement leadership, Production Finance, Corporate Finance/Legal, Studio Operations, and production stakeholders to drive sourcing execution, supplier coordination, cost management, and issue resolution

  • all while preserving the speed and flexibility production teams need. Reporting to the VP, Production Procurement, you'll translate production needs into clear procurement workstreams, support vendor strategy and negotiations, track savings and risk items, and bring disciplined follow-up to production procurement priorities. What You'll Do Own and manage procurement operating routines
  • weekly pipeline reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly performance cadences Serve as enterprise administrator and process owner for Asana, maintaining initiative tracking, milestone visibility, and cross-functional coordination Build and lead enterprise procurement analytics
  • dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that drive strategic decisions Partner with category leaders and finance to ensure procurement data is reliable, timely, and aligned with FP&A reporting Standardize repeatable procurement processes for production requests: intake, prioritization, stakeholder updates, vendor comparisons, approvals, and escalation paths Develop executive-level reporting on procurement performance, pipeline health, and value creation Identify and drive process improvement opportunities across procurement operations What You Bring Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred 10+ years in procurement, supply chain, production operations, production finance, sourcing, vendor management, or management consulting, supporting complex, time-sensitive business environments Proven track record building and managing operating cadences, governance routines, and performance management frameworks Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience building procurement dashboards, KPIs, and data-driven reporting Proficiency with tools like Asana, Smartsheet, Oracle Fusion, Airtable, or Excel Ability to operate with agility and strategic prioritization in fast-paced, cross-functional environments Excellent communication skills•able to translate production needs, vendor issues, and procurement data into clear recommendations for senior leaders Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) a plus Experience in production, studio, media, entertainment, live events, or other project-based operating environments preferred Entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented mindset•comfortable creating structure and driving open items to closure This is a high-visibility role working directly with senior executives to support and grow a critical function.
