- Piscataway, New Jersey, United States Who We Are Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition.
- Partner closely with the End to End Supply Chain to implement our long term external manufacturing strategy and expand production capabilities
- Assure total compliance and ethical alignment for new and existing external manufacturing networks
- Nurture supplier relationships to proactively mitigate service or quality disruptions before they impact the business
- Lead the development, negotiation, and implementation of competitive contract agreements with external manufacturers
- Implement forward looking strategies that keep our external supplier network completely in tune with the evolving direction of Colgate-Palmolive business units
- Identify and champion strategic business relationships both internally and externally to align sourcing strategies and project execution with overarching business requirements
- Collaborate fluently with suppliers, technical teams, technology, marketing, and finance functions to implement procurement policies and align service and financial strategies
- Execute holistic risk assessments and audits on contract manufacturers while advancing responsible sourcing initiatives
- Analyze budget preparation and completion utilizing sophisticated global commodity market insights
- Ensure the consistent achievement of purchasing key performance indicators including customer service, nonconformance reduction, unexpected downtime mitigation, single source management, and supplier diversity goals Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related business/technical field
- 8+ years of procurement experience leading external manufacturing agreements
- Experience in running Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) with strong data analysis skills
- Solid understanding of SAP and Google Workspace Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration or professional certification such as Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified in Planning and Inventory Management, or Project Management Professional
- Experience working directly within production plant operations
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical and sustainable solutions
- Effective verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to engage at senior leadership levels internally and externally Compensation and Benefits Salary Range $124,000.00
- $174,000.
