Global Procurement Compliance Manager Orangeburg, NY, United States | req27996 What you will enjoy doing• You will be accountable for reviewing contract documents and coordinating with internal teams to ensure they meet the companies compliance standards Lead the material compliance activities in coordination with the corporate compliance group Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance alignment across all sites Assist the procurement team with complex contract negotiations including both business and legal terms to improve supply reliability and lower costs Maintain relationships and coordinate activities with material and service vendors to ensure they are adhering to identified compliance standards Partner with the global Electronic sites to drive procurement initiatives related to compliance and sourcing enabling and driving communication and teamwork Identify and drive cost reduction efforts through new supplier identification, low cost country sourcing and strategic pricing negotiations Perform procurement related activity including processing purchase orders Thrive in a fast paced environment. Drive work process and efficiency improvements What makes you great 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience required Bachelor's degree preferred along with prior experience within the semiconductor industry Prior experience driving compliance activities preferred Negotiating, Supplier/Process Management and Procurement Skills with a background including a variety of situations (new and existing suppliers, difficult suppliers, expediting, initiating and completing improvements) MS Excel proficiency Oracle ERP experience Ability to communicating to all levels within and outside organization Strong problem solving, effective communication and organizational skills to be successful in this role Why you will love working with us Linde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
