As our Purchasing & Sourcing Manager , you will be at the heart of this mission. You will lead our procurement operations and supplier networks to ensure our essential wellness products are always available, safe, and built to the highest standards. By blending strategic sourcing with rigorous quality alignment, you will help us seamlessly bring high-volume, compliant consumer goods from our suppliers to retail shelves.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and refine supply chain strategies that support high-volume consumer product manufacturing, optimizing cost targets and service standards.
Team Management:
Coach, mentor, and support the daily activities of the buying team.
Supplier Relations & Negotiation:
Lead vendor negotiations for pricing, delivery terms, and contract compliance; conduct regular vendor site visits.
Risk & Continuity Management:
Evaluate supplier risks and champion continuity planning, including dual-sourcing initiatives to protect product availability.
Performance Tracking:
Establish and manage robust KPIs, including on-time delivery, inventory turns, order fill rate, and overall vendor performance.
Cost & Efficiency Optimization:
Drive cost-reduction initiatives across purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Planning, Inventory Governance, and Quality to secure material readiness and support new consumer product launches.
Technology Innovation:
Evaluate and recommend digital tools and systems to enhance supply chain visibility and data-driven decision-making.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure all procurement and supply chain activities strictly adhere to safety, cGMP regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
Executive Reporting:
Keep leadership informed with regular updates on supply chain risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications & Experience Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of progressive procurement management experience within a manufacturing environment (regulated consumer goods or medical device background preferred).
Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of c
GMP, FDA
regulations for over-the-counter/consumer products, OSHA safety standards, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Skills:
