Job Description

Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Executive Director and is recognized as the technical expert on procurement and contracting subjects. Manages the procurement and contracting for The
CORD, LLC
in accordance with HUD and The CORD procurement regulations and policies. Work in conjunction with the Capital Fund and Housing & Community Development Director in the timely utilization of grant funding. Works collaboratively with all department heads in completing and submitting grant applications for SMHA/ The
CORD,LLC
for traditional and non-traditional grant opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, business administration or related and minimally (5) years of procurement, contracting and/or purchasing experience for a public (government) agency or education and experience totaling (10) ten years. Past experience managing and submitting grant applications. Certification in Procurement , Contract Management and Grant Management preferred or able to obtain in twelve (12) month period.
