Senior Level Salary:
$100,000 - $130,000 per year Job Details - As the Purchasing Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of complex construction and manufacturing projects by ensuring the right materials are sourced at the right time and cost. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you'll partner with operations, engineering, and project teams to build and execute procurement strategies that directly influence timelines, margins, and overall project success. You'll own the full purchasing lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiations to vendor management and process optimization—while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with project timelines and budgets Negotiate contracts and pricing to drive cost savings and improve supplier terms Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure materials arrive on time Partner with project managers and engineering teams to forecast material demand Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvement Identify new sourcing opportunities based on market trends and supplier capabilities Lead cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety Analyze purchasing data and report on performance, savings, and key metrics
What You Bring Core Qualifications:
5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience within construction or a related industry Proven success negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, and procurement systems Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
