Job Summary About DenTech Industrial Dentech Industrial was formed in 1985 in Lancaster, PA, an area with a wide and enduring reputation for exceptional craftmanship and a strong work ethic. Built on a foundation of design, machining, and fabrication expertise, and bolstered by key acquisitions and a fantastic crew, Dentech has expanded over the past 35 years to be able to handle just about any need in the industrial landscape. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Purchasing Manager is responsible for supervising the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials for business operations. Their duties include researching materials suppliers and comparing costs, negotiating purchase agreements and developing inventory controls to identify demand for new materials. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents. Assist with hiring and training new staff. Assist with developing and implementing procurement rules and regulations. Purchase materials and services for the company. Build/Maintain supplier relationships with vendors and network partners. Evaluate product quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services. Prepare required reports from company systems. Generate and review monthly procurement reports. Ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures. Maintain accurate records, including journals, receipts, and invoices. Perform administrative and other tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 5 or more years of relevant Purchasing experience. Experience with Microsoft Business Central, Dynamics NAV or similar ERP. Strong time management, organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft applications including a strong knowledge of Excel. Self-directed and motivated to exceed expectations. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be organized, detail oriented and able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
