Job Description
JSG is recruiting for a Lead Procurement Manager. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX construction projects that transform the industry. As the primary client contact, you'll develop and execute procurement strategies, negotiate vital contracts, and oversee procurement operations to ensure seamless project execution and maximum value. Pay $70/hour to $80/hour
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, ideally with large capital projects (> $1B). Proven expertise in procurement management for large-scale projects, including RFP development, contract negotiations, and change management. Strong knowledge of EPCM contract structures, construction contracts (AIA, liens), and procurement policies. Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Projects, SAP, and Ariba. Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with engineering, legal, finance, and construction stakeholders. Experience overseeing vendor performance, claims, and dispute resolution. Nice toHave Skills:
Experience working within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries. Quantity Surveyor background. Knowledge of environmental, safety, and regulatory standards in large construction projects. Familiarity with change order management and closeout procedures. Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is highly desirable. Johnson Service Group, Inc.
